Wearables-Good ideas with materials

Interesting to see some one working in this field, its inspiring as well as being a small confidence boost to know that fashion and technology are slowly creeping into each others areas. The ideas found in this video are brilliant, its example of how accessible miniaturised gadgets are becoming to the commercial world.
The MIT Media Lab looks like the perfect place to work, and as a result they have some of the most fascinating projects i have ever seen, like the Electronic poppables project which is a lovely take on the traditional pop-up book.

Its a wonderful integration of electronics into a conventional form, and even includes a little Flexinol! look out for the venus fly traps!
